Z-IV.1. Laboratory for Pathology

a) Research activities:
·    Research of the impact of diseases on structural (and functional) changes in animal body caused by diseases of various aetiology;
·    Research of morphological (and functional) characteristics of basic pathological processes in the body and their distribution by systems, organs and tissues;
·    Research of causes of structural (morphological) changes, development and impact of such changes on the course of diseases – research of cause of animal death based on post mortem changes;
·    Research of new methods of determination of pathological changes in animal body, particularly on the cell level;
·    Research of causes and circumstances for the outbreak and spreading of epizooties;
b) Professional activities:
·    pathological anatomical and histological pathological diagnostics;
monitoring and studying of incidence, spreading and prevalence of animal diseases
