Institute employee Irena Listeš, DVM, assistant (internal status: junior researcher) and Manager of the Laboratory for Culture Media Preparation and Sterilisation of the Veterinary Institute Split, a branch of the Croatian Veterinary Institute, successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Dokazivanje verotoksigene bakterije Escherichia coli u školjkaša iz proizvodnih područja istočne obale Jadrana” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb on 15 July 2013, thereby receiving the academic title of doctor of science (PhD).
